INSURANCE

Genie and Troy are Mennonites.
Like the Amish, Mennonites traditionally do not believe in insurance.
They have no health insurance, Social Security, retirement, employment, disability, life insurance, pensions, military benefits, institutional church support, salary, stocks, savings accounts, etc.
They keep their personal income below the poverty level and donate any excess money to charity.
They never bug people for donations, but some relatives have advised the to make some provision for the unthinkable.

So, if you would like to be on a list of people we can call in the event of a catastrophic health emergency, please let us know.
